The most permanent way of consistently featuring on the first page of Google or other search engines under your chosen keywords is to search-engine-optimise your site for these keywords (S.E.O.). If you do not have a web site as yet, you definitely need to have one and this is easy enough to accomplish and to ensure that it is search-engine-optimised from the beginning.
If you already have a site, but do not feature well in the search engines, this is still very achievable but may require a little extra work on our part. Given the many different ways and programs which can be used to create a web site these days, the odds are that the program that was used to create your non-S.E.O. website is not the same program that we are using. One option would be that the whole website would have to be taken apart into it’s component parts and rebuilt.
This is quite a lengthy process and the resulting web site, whilst being prominently findable on the search engines, may not be as flashy as the previous version of your site.
Alternatively, we can possibly find a web site developer who utilizes the same software and get him to optimize the site.
There are also certain types of sites, for instance those that are “frame-based,” that cannot be search engine optimized by virtue of their structural composition.
The greatest advantage to a well-optimized site off-course is that once the new site is up and has been registered with the various search engines, there are no more additional costs involved. This is aside from hosting fees and if you should want to implement changes.
This contrasts with PPC, which is an ongoing monthly financial commitment. Once you end the campaign, your web site fades back into the far reaches of cyberspace.
